Alimentaria Mexico is expanding in its 2006 event with its launch of the Alimentaria Equipo Area

Alimentaria Mexico 2006 continues to focus on exhibiting the widest range of food and beverages in the country. The Alimentaria Equipo Area will increase this range with its display of equipment, accessories and services for food service and restaurant professionals.

Alimentaria Exhibitions S. A. and E. J. Krause of Mexico, will be introducing the Alimentaria Equipo Area for the first time, as part of Alimentaria Mexico 2006, the international forum which brings together the widest range of food and beverages, to be held in the Banamex Centre in Mexico City from 6 to 8 June next year.

“The area is being launched in response to a large demand on the part of our visitors, and in this way we are complementing the range available by exhibiting equipment, accessories and services for food service and restaurant professionals”, said Víctor Pascual, director of Alimentaria Mexico.

Shortly after promoting the Alimentaria Equipo Area, companies such as Comercial San-Son (manufacturers of stoves, ovens, storage, refrigeration units, freezers and ice machines, etc.); Construcciones Refrigeradas (a Mexican company dedicated to the design, construction and installation of refrigeration and freezer units for the commercial and industrial sector) and Cafeteras Rilomex (manufacturing and repair of high technology automatic and semi-automatic espresso coffee machines, coffee display units, boilers and grinders) have confirmed their participation.

Alimentaria Mexico 2006 continues its main focus as a food and beverages exhibition, “on extending the range we are seeking to fulfil the expectations of those who have been closely monitoring the previous stagings of the event, by adding to the range of services and suppliers available on the market and which will be present on the exhibition floor”, added Víctor Pascual.

This exhibition grows and develops every year, incorporating new activities, initiatives and areas to enhance the range of products aimed at the food service professional, from the distribution sector (large chains, wholesalers, importers and retail shops), to the decision-makers in restaurants, hotels, catering companies, hospitals, industrial canteens, and international distribution (in the United States, Canadian, Central American and South American markets).Alimentaria Mexico 2006 will once again present an event for professionals, with a series of parallel activities which will undoubtedly display the innovations and trends of the sector, some of the main attractions being the international pavilions, the Innoval Show, the Mexican Gastronomy Congress for the second year, as well as the Seminars on nutrition, tastings of national and international beverages and the National Sommeliers Competition.
